An ancient bodywork practice that follows Ayurvedic principles that originate in Asia, the massage occurs on floor mats and fully clothed, Thai massage begins at the feet and ends at the head following energy lines through the body. It blends yoga-style stretching, acupressure, trigger point massage, breath work, and meditation. The massage is excellent for relief of general muscle tension, fatigue, headaches, stress, PMS, and menstrual pain.

Massage and movement have been part of Angele's family culture from a young age. As a teenager, living in Northern Ontario, Angele discovered yoga in the library and has maintained a yoga practice for over 20 years. During the pandemic, she was given the opportunity to do her teacher training with a wonderful studio in Toronto committed to inclusive yoga. Her yoga classes focus on mobility and mindfulness that are accessible to all levels of fitness.

In addition to teaching yoga, Angele is excited to offer Thai massage, which integrates many of the wonderful elements of yoga with touch. She formally learnt the art through ITM Toronto, affiliated with a prominent school in Chiang Mai, Thailand and is continually learning under Master Practitioner Orachon Meechai. Angele enjoys seeing the powerful healing effects that the ancient art of Thai massage has on clients, who often leave in less pain or less stressed. The soothing rhythmic compression, stretches, and movements performed on the entire body in flowy sequences, are a blissful experience everyone should try at least once.
